Him

Dear vulnerability,

The breeze passes me -

as I stand still -

planted by the thought of you.

My limbs rise from the ground -

blooming like tulips in the morning sun -

growing in the light of your eyes.

The world continues to turn -

and I find myself -

caught in the rotation of your smile.

I feel you -

in the birds, chirping in the sky -

in the sun, cradling me as it rises -

and in the leaves, rustling around me.

The grass -

green -

and filled with light -

has never looked so alive.
