Him.

Like the ocean flows towards the shore

You keep me close but still distant.

I wonder if you think about me when your eyes close

For you are my last thought when I go to bed

And the first when I wake up in the morning.

I couldn’t help it if I tried

You carve out my insides

You lit my hair on fire

You called me the ring

Like from that Johnny Cash song.

I think I love you,

So while we watch the sea on the overcast,

Shall we make a trust that shall everlast?
