@him

it all started one day

we were put next to each other

i felt something would come up

my broken heart was in no shape

i couldn't let it be broken again

i put up my walls

we didn't talk until you made small talk

that small talk encouraged me to continue

soon that small talk would no longer be small talk

slowly, the better we grew, the more you leaked into me

my walls started to crumble and you got into my heart

we would have great times together and

everything was perfect and you

opened my mind

my past is not a determination of

what i am to your love your

understanding and compassion

kindess and acceptance

changed me to become the person i lost

thank you for your nutrition to allow me

to spread what you gave me.
