Hindsight Bias
Hindsight Bias.
It’s all too real.
The things you learn,
the things you regret,
The things you realize.
All after the fact.
Life is a continuous novel
And you are the author,
Constantly at work.
Never letting my heart ponder,
I distract myself from the pain,
Where now it only surfaces shortly,
To be pushed down again.
The things you’re taught in school,
They actually apply to real life.
I’m just beginning to realize this.
Pay attention,
for someday it may save you a lot of pain.
