Hip Hip

Thoughtfulness and indescribable by words Written and expressed with many adjectives and verbs But have you heard The voice that had spoken within Like a catchy rhyming hymn Surreal and real synonyms Similarities between antonyms Like exercising in the gym My mind races with thoughts about them The many undeserved Who had not disturbed The balance of the world Instead of thinking about why I hurt As my face continuously plays with a smirk Thinking of the many jerks Who solely thought money was life's perks Deception and lies through their minds in what lurks But then you have those who wisely chose The positive rode instead of doing what the ungrateful told Like clay being molded Paper being folded Aware of what's being told and The unrealistic ignorant Who don't want to "bend" To try and comprehend Like grains in a handful of sand The different perceptions of the many that demand For the right to be unique and stand Stand for something that's for us alone Instead of being a replica or a clone Connecting two minds like the lines of a phone Intelligence and beauty are brightly shone But then they fail to see what molded me Hip Hop and R&B Talking about their hardships on the streets The constant beefs Someone getting jumped, shot or beat But then they speak Speak about their tribulations or trials Trying to turn their frowns into simple smiles That only last for a while But like a golden crown My passion through Hip Hop is what I found And it's peaceful, serene sound That has forever bound My soul and my mind into one For the journey of Hip Hop has just begun.
