His Arms

As I crawl between the empty crevices of his arms,
I lay against him and my cold body feels a rush of warmth.
My hands start shaking,
And all I can do is smile as his eyes stare deep into mine.
His fingers graze my arm lightly as he holds me closer to him, sending chills down my spine.
His lips touch mine ever so softly
And fireworks ignite instantly.
Fingers interlocked.
Time goes by as fast as seconds.
We lose each other.
I lose myself just laying there,
Right there,
In his arms.
The sun rises.
And the house awakens.
The moment is over.
But the memory is perfect.
Never replaced.
Just always perfect,
In his arms.
