To, His future love,His
To, His future love,
His kind eyes raised from the ground
To pierce through my heart
A look that could melt ice.
The ice in my soul peeled away to reveal only love
He looked at me like he could see my thoughts,
feel my pain,
and hear my voice,
though I wasn't saying a word.
He understood me, and loved me
Even with the demons clawing their way towards the surface of my skin, to see light
Even though I pushed them down
He did not hide from them, but rather help them.
He is summer, fall, winter and spring
Because, honestly, he became my everything
I miss him.
Now its winter, no, not winter, its winter in a blizzard with no clothes on, because
Without him, I no longer melt, and my soul freezes again to let the demons thrive.
Though I no longer see your eyes, I hope they are still kind, and I hope one day
They pierce another girls heart
And she loves them the way I do
Sincerely,
His Past Love
