In His Image

If I were stranded on an island all alone,

With no one else around, all on my own,

The one item I would always need with me

Is my Bible to remember my identity.

Who I am in Christ is the most important thing,

I need to feel the love from my one, true King.

Nothing else compares to what the Bible teaches,

Jesus is alive and holy, that's what the Word preaches.

God's love is all I need to keep me happy and whole,

Knowing He is there for me satisfies my soul.

Nothing else comes close to what Jesus did,

When He sacrificed himself for all of our sins.

I need nothing else than the gift I get from God,

His power to tell me that in Him, I am not flawed.

He made me in His image, and I am His child,

Being his creation means I am perfectly styled.
