His Power Over Me

A match burning my neck and shoulders lures me into his beauty

The beating of his ice cold heart drags me under, yet I still embrace him

In his presence too long I am weakened and driven to another body

But he calls me back taking advantage of his power over me

His attractive exterior hides the ugly within, though I still take pleasure in him

The joy he brings others is hard to ignore

But I feel like the beach is just for me
