In His Reach

To live without Him would be the death of me.

He kept me alive the years that weren’t so carefree .

Wrapped in love, He fights off the wolves who try to tear into me.

I am lifted by him when stress holds me to the ground.

He is my sanity when all the arguer’s shout their opinions loud,

trying to knock my balance, break my foundation.

He is my peace of mind in the light of day,

my candle of hope in the dark of night.

When my heart is breaking, my healer soothes my fright.

Filling my soul, He reminds me of who I am.

He nurtures me, teaches me to become better,

when I fall He lifts me, forgives me.
