His Room

The big picture window

Sits covered with plants and cards

All his clothes and possessions

Are neatly placed in the closet

Boxes of questions

Sit in the corner

By a dresser of answers

I sit and watch a vision

Of peace in my mind

His scent

Lingers in the room

I rest assured, my grandfather is in a better place
