His Word

If I found myself alone in paradise,

On an island with no ship in my sight,

It would suddenly cease to be so nice.

What could help me? There is nothing that might.

Destined to live in hunger and anguish,

To die on the island, how could I cope?

With an escape being my only wish,

I certainly would lose all of my hope.

Living in isolation I may go

Mad, desperate simply for a comrade.

Survival is worthless if there is no

One to share life with. It cannot be had.

Yet all these worries, the bible would end.

It gives an eternal promise and friend.
