History

Uh. Uh. Agency. History. Word. Here we go: United States, United States Tryin' to show the world its pretty face But 'merica's history ain't always a pretty view Open Zinn and Russell and let's review This guy Columbus came from Spain, He gave the Natives small pox and chopped off they haynds He forced 'em into slavery and still wanted more But I bet you like Columbus Day at the store The horror of the slave trade is what came next, They walked 'em to the coast with chains around their necks In the war for independence Britain pissed us off So we wrote the DOI to tell 'em to F-off. After the war was a change of pace, The sphere of true womanhood told girls their place In the Indian removal it was Ridge vs. Ross The Cherokee faced a terrible loss Whites vs. Blacks, Rich vs. Poor, Is America united like it says on the door? Grim enterprise but you're gonna have to eat it Can't recall the past, you're condemned to repeat it Word
