You wonder why I didn't tell you sooner.

  About such a big piece of myself.

Even though I had to listen to you condemn those like me

  for over a decade.

Show me how to be honest with you

amidst:

  "Being gay isn't natural"

  "It just makes me sick"

  "I just don't want it fuckin' rubbed in my face"

Yeah, dad.

Show me how.
