Hold On

Why is  it that I feel like giving up on this situation,

Everytime she opens her mouth I die a bit more,

"Hold on," Grandma says, "It's nnot forever,"

Evertime I try to find some truth in those words,

Shouting has become her communication tool,

It's her way or the higway,

No room for compromise,

No time to think of your ridiculus ultimatums,

All she wants to know is that she is in control of everything,

All I know is, I'll see where tommorrow takes me.
