HOLD ON
Hey,
I'm sure,
I'm sure when you say that you're not fine
a million will rise to show you sympathy with their corporate smiles
and pretty white lies
'It'll be fine in the end' they tell you for the thousandth time.
Then they'll ask you wipe those tears and get on track
they won't care I promise; they never do
about the weight of the baggage you hold on your back
But don't bother calling them out
all of us have different way to cope and maybe
Sometimes they really don't know what your hurting is all about
But on those days, Don't you lose hope, Don't you cry silently
Come to me,
come to me and this world I created just for us; this poem
when the whole world covers their ears and have nothing to
give you but those sympathetic smiles
for I promise to listen to you for a long while
I promise to embrace you with my open arms and open mind
Give you one of my shoulder to cry as I help you carry the load with the other
Hold your hand, wipe your tears; as you climb this difficult slope called life
Hold you by your waist to give you a lift when you loose your footing
If that is what you need to hold on one more day
