Hold My Hand

All I want is for you to hold my hand

And take me back to wonderland

To be by my side and help be my guide

To hold me in your arms and keep me from harm

To support me when I’m down

And not to let me drown

All I want is for you to hold my hand

All I want is for you to understand

That I need your hugs

They’re like air for my lungs

I want to be in your arms and be away from all harm

I just want your affection

That helps clear my head of misdirection

Hold my hand all around

And keep me away from that dark place

And wrap me in your embrace

Because all I want is your affection

And to strengthen our connection
