Hole

There's a hole in my heart.

A sad, empty hole.

Nobody can fill it.

Nothing can make me whole.

But something about this girl,

I can't see what it is.

But she understands what it's like.

She knows who he is.

This girl is not my friend.

Nor is she my best friend.

She is my sister.

And she makes that hole mend.

She came into my life

Just about five months ago.

But it feels like five years

And I never want to let go.

She always knows what I'm feeling

With nothing being said.

And she's always been there for me

When I'd really rather be dead.

I feel like I owe her something

For being the way so amazing.

I've never had a sister like her.

And she'll always leave me wheezing.

This girl that I know too well

Is not aware that I know her more than she thinks.

Because I view a lot more

Than I can yell.

The last part of this poem is about something that the girl would understand.

I yell a lot and talk alot, but she doesn't know that the reason I yell is because if I don't

talk for a while, people will ask if I'm ok, and usually I break down when people ask

if I'm ok. On Monday, I'm going to be the genuine me.
