The Hole
The Hole
It’s deep
Too deep
I can barely see the sunlight
My hands are bloody
My feet are sore
For some reason I must fight
It’s too late to climb out
I’m buried underground
“Stop digging” they whispered
But I must find a way out
Maybe I will get to the other side
A fresh start, a brand new life
Clink clink clink
A door, a trap door
Finally some answers
“Stop digging” they said
My feet felt like lead
Caution it read
And inside was a bed
Sheets folded up neatly
Pillows set to the side
Once I put this together
It’s the end of my ride
I lay down the sheets
Leaving no wrinkle astray
I place down the pillows
And then in it I lay
Something wrong with this poem?
