The Hole you Stumbled Upon

And in your eyes I saw something.

Something far deeper than pain.

I saw remorse, regret, guilt.

And the thing is that I know you tried to put yourself back together.

To glue all your broken pieces.

In the end, there was nothing you could do.

So you gave up.

And it isn't till now that I finally really realize how broken you really are.

But the thing that scares me the most is that you'll stay this way.

Torn.

Crumbled down in the sorrow of yesterday.

You weren't lucky enough to receive a second chance.

You almost were, but almost doesn't change anything.

It never does.

So your still down there.

Stuck in the deep hole of unresolved mistakes.
