Holler

I write to holler. I write to scream. I write to let go of everything. Is my happiness based on the basis of an engagement ring? I like him. But why do I feel in my heart like I work twice as hard to hear his voice, to feel his laughs, and wish for his hugs. He proclaims "It's not you". My friends say let go but I cannot. The bills lie heavy on the table. Uncle Sam wants his share. The consequences then ponder. No water? No heat? How will we survive? I just write to holler, to scream, and to let go of everything.
