Hollow

My mind said run, my heart said stay

Making me view it in a different way

Struggles and hardships

The world is filled with harshness

The memories and ideas shaping who I am

The ideas and memories that allowed me

To realize we all need to be carefree

Heartbreak made me strong

But people constantly doing wrong

Which is why I am so headstrong

Hard decisions created wisdom

Fate brought light to life

Everything starts with a promise that turns to a lie

Why do we all even try?

No words can formulate a sentence to make me complete

Everyone is like hollow holes at the bottom of a tree
