A Hollow Riddle

I start as a choice,

and end as a disease.

I am proud of your hunger,

and proud of your pain.

The dull emptiness

motivates my game.

I trick the vulnerable

into believing they’re useless.

You starve always,

because my hunger consumes you.

As you wither away,

I dig your grave.

They see me as a solution.

They see me as a savior.

But I am a murderer.

What am I?

An Eating Disorder.
