The Holocaust

Joyous and bright that was the
life of the Jews before they were
discovered by Hitler

Dark and glum that was life before
Jews when they were captured
Burned alive until you could
smell burning flesh

Cramped and uncomfortable
millions of Jews were stuffed
in a tiny concentration camp
Many nursing the hope of freedom

Millions killed by the cruel acts of the Nazi Germans
For reasons still unapparent to this day
Kids scared from all the noise going on at night

Having knowledge can keep the Holocaust
from being repeated
Don't make the same mistake as Hitler
Never let the Holocaust be repeated
