Holocaust
(poems go hereSomething terrible through the air
The Germans are coming
Onslaught of degrees and restrictions
Little by little our freedom taken away
Taken to an unknown place
Separated from family
Alone
No sense of security
Hopes destroyed
Soul longs freedom
Constant state of fear
Mass executions
Death all around
Could not stop it
We should retaliate
Death penalty
Where ever you go you will be surrounded
By the Germans
Work unit sunset
Many Jews liquidated
Most Jews perished
I remained alive
