Holy Promise

Battered and beaten

and tossed around

Hung on a cross

Set in the ground

Nails in his feet

and in his hands

A story to be told

all across the lands

He prayed for us

for what we had done

For we killed Jesus

Gods Holy son

He died for a reason

That reason so poor

 That reason is for us

to have an open Heaven door

Just believe and minister

A promise was said

That we would go to heaven

No place for the dead.
