Born to a different breed & raised in the Heart of the U.S.A.
My family worked hard to make me who I am
And I'll appreciate what they sacrifice every day
Both of my grandfathers and my brother have protected this country
And make me proud to stand on this ground
Though it may not be how it used to be,
I'll always respect it because I know it is sacred.
America is a well of opportunities; dip your hands in it.
Bathe in its infinitely flowing privilege
I'll always know this is my home. It is where I fit.
I am a Kansan, a full blooded American. And I am Free.
