I sit alone The night is vast The dirt beneath my toes I see a string A string of gold A string that beckons A string that calls I grab this string This string of Hope I follow where it leads Over hills Through valleys Along vast, dreary roads Across stone bridges My steps are sure My steps are determined I follow And I follow And finally It ends I stumble upon it Dreary and tired Broken and dirty And there you sit In radiance In glory Full of life Full of grace Your arms spread And I have found it I have found Home
