Shelter me

Because these

empty walls and lonely halls

don’t respond when I call out "I'm home"

Shelter me

Be my bridge

and make me forget

the heaviness of pouring rain

Shelter me

Only you can solace me

when melancholy seeps in

and my structure implores surrender

Please shelter me

You turned home into a feeling

that I only get when you’re by my side

Love me, you are my home and you’re all I need
