Home


My home is here, in my mind.

A house like no other kind.

Its walls carved from the memories I share.

Its door open, to those who care.

My poems become the decorations, inside and out.

These are my words draped around here, there is no doubt.

If ever these walls weaken, from the painful memories locked inside,

If ever my roof of sanity collapses, there is but one vow I shall abide.

Whenever there is a challenge, whenever there is pain,

I will grab my pen and pencil, for in my poetry I shall reign.
