I am from here and melting

From there and freezing

I am from the bitter streets filled with mysterious treats

I am from a place with joyful beats that fill up the seats

I am from colors that are black and yellow

From Schools that lack real spirit and is mellow

I am from silence to emptiness with insecurities and hesitation

I am from independence to shining  brightness with confidence and creation

I am from dinner tables real sweet and meaningful

From arguements unavoidable but forethoughtful

I am from felines that roam the palace fluffy and cute

I am from surprise visits and hangouts fun and on route

I truly do not feel from here or there but

From really where my heart feels accepted

I am from a home constantly moving but also never moving

I am from many unique experiences and irreplaceable memories

My home is where my heart takes me and my heart is with my family and friends. And as long as I have them I will always have a place that I can call home.
