home (II)

It's weird

How, 11 days ago

You took the first Polaroid of you & your friend smiling

Happy, at an outdoor table

Drinking iced tea

That was before all the winds of change swept you off your feet

11 days later

You have welcomed countless new students to their new home

and become a better

(and more regressive)

version of yourself

All the glamour

All the drama

the highs and the lows

Crossfaded

After 4 cups of rose

walking home in the cold rain at 3

Do you find yourself

After picking & choosing numerous men

(gotta wonder why i bother)

Dancing; reciting monologues (and fucking them up)

in front of 500 new faces

After you tell each man you're "home"

(changing the meaning of the word)

But what is home anyway?
