"Because I love you" used to have a meaning to me.

The words "I love you" should make my heart skip a beat, 

Those words should put a smile on my face, 

They should make me feel warm and loved.

When you say "I love you", I know you don't.

Between us there is no trust, no communication, no partnership.

There's no honesty, respect or compassion. 

There is just you.

You say, "Because I love you" as I walk out the door and I don't look back.
