When my world is falling down

When everything is crumbling around me

I can still move,

I can still run,

I can still fly,

I can get away from it all.

I can't fly home,

I can't fly back,

I can only fly fowards.

but if I go fowards,

can I ever get home?

I miss it there...

I miss my friends,

I miss my home.

The sanctum of my friends and lovers tht I once called home.

I want to go back.

I want to cry..

So here I sit,

on my crumbling little bit of stable ground.

The blue gown tattered,

wings bleeding,

eyes full of tears...

Nothing remains but hope and it will only keep me up for so long.

But if I fall

It won't be far.

My mind is space,

Gravity doesn't exist

Planets don't exist

Only the light of my own starts and ideas.

Please let me hide in my dark places.

Let me just turn away from the world,

and just for a while,

Rest.

Goodnight reality,

I am off to see my world.

All I ever needed, is a place to  call home.
