I miss the smell

Of cigarette smoke and the cool night

Lingering on my clothes

The smell of wax melts

Spreading throughout the house

I miss the smell of home

I miss the sound

Of thunder booming in the sky

Rain hitting the window

Children laughing

Stories being told

Cars in the highway

I miss the sound of home
