  • The ambiguity of your soft figure
  • In desperation we search for a category
  • In which to confine you
  • Are you homegrown red with imprints of falling leaves?
  • A slight scratch of dirt—
  • Purposeful in its carelessness
  • A painters accidental stroke across stained canvas
  • Everyone knows my soft spot for you
  • Friends neighbors uncle gathered a batch for me
  • I crunch the tomatoes unapologetically
  • A grin spreading faster than the taste
