Home isn’t home anymore

When the people there are lost

In their own head; a shut door

Agitated and betossed.

Do not take me home

Home isn’t home anymore

When rough nights turn a dark day

Arising from bed a corps

Place a fake mask to convey.

Your okay alone

Home isn’t home anymore

When the eyes that used to look-

At you see scuffs on the floor

Again and again forsook.

Pretend you're aplomb

Home isn’t home anymore

When faces only smile

To show fangs biting heart's core

All your time spent on trial.

I won’t be a mome

Home isn’t home anymore

When you can no longer see

Mom’s sweetened love like before

Turn’d bitter,  putrescent, unfree.

I’m never going home
