Today when I left the house I left the door unlocked. I was late and had promised to meet a friend. I don’t normally go to these things but being at loose ends basically having been abandoned to my own devices feeling somewhat left out, I needed something to do. Well, I made a friend today That doesn’t happen every day you know It’s actually rather rare. It started with a question and developed into a conversation gradually at first then accelerating Like a sugar cube disappears in tea Why don’t you meet us later we’re having lunch. And she came and we talked. Sometimes it happens just like that.
