Home Again

I was gone just a week

Changed my life

Mother doesn't understand

She brushes me off

She says:

"It was just a great week"

She interupts

She tries to return

To the way things were

She doesn't even try

Gone just a week

The other day I was so...

Happy?

Connected?

Supported?

Now I feel...

Sad?

Distant?

Alone?

When I normally return

I am happy to be back

But now I wish

That I wasn't

Home Again
