Home Alone

Footsteps up and down the walls, I hear.

Goosebumps run down my spine.

Trickling like water drops in the sink.

"Knock, knock"

Running to the door in hopes that it wasn't my imagination.

Hoping my parents are finally home after picking up ice from the gas station.
