HOME and LESS time

HOME and LESS time

Out on the streets with nowhere to go,

Begging for a little mercy.

Most who pass by put on a stone cold face ,

And stare forward straight ahead.

Some though not many have pity on them,

And whisper them encouraging words as they walk by.

Others still the ruder ones,

Will yell kick and scream.

Why would i help you?! You're probably a druggie!!

And though most have brought this upon themselves,

That I can’t deny,

Could we all just give them the benefit of the doubt?

Because who knows?

We could all be wrong ourselves.
