Home is Here

There,

On the side

Alone,

He cried

Taken from all

He held dear

He tried to be strong

And hold back the tear

He didn't deserve this

None of them do

All the children

Alone

No home to go to

These are the ones

That need all the care

But most of all

The love we don't share

If I could change one thing

In this world tonight

I would take that boy home

Wrap him up nice and tight

And whisper soft into his little ear

You are loved

You are special

And your home is right here.
