The vibrant sunset spanned across the sky

The time slowed down and I realized I would

I had to leave this deadbeat town for good

And the sight had reminded me of why

The dream of change raced through my pulsing mind

As colours touched the sky I drove away

As trees quickly raced by, night turned to day

Desperate for freedom I was bound to find

My destination was never confirmed

But once I saw the new scene around me,

The lively nature and birds that flew free

I realized that my home was now affirmed

So I pursued as the exit signs passed

With no thoughts of return as I drove fast
