Home at last

After years of searching. I thought, I finally found them, In foreign land i landed. Where i was never welcomed or accepted. Like a dove in a bird nest. Excited as i was but The little i knew was, I was swimming in a fake identity. Like a bird,i grew wings when i was treated bad, I learned how to fly when i was ignored. I learned to be strong when favouritism took place. And when i was excluded in their plans,i learned who i was & it was time to spread my wings n i fly away. Sad & angry as i was, with Tears were running down my cheeks like a summer heavy rain. because Deep inside I was Confused & sad but not hopeless. While i was busy flying. I came across the birds of the same Feathers as mine, I joined them & flew together I landed in their nest, I was Scared & excited at the same time Loved n wanted i felt. The little I knew was that, I’ve arrived home The new nest was my home. This is where I belong Home at last By : Dineo Mokhine
