Home Sick
The ocean is too big for me
A grain of sand on the shore
The battle of the waves is all I see
Rolling, curling, and more
I could stand here for years
The breeze tossing my hair
I'd rather be where my problems disappear
All of my worries fading is rare
In the sunlight I stand
The sun beating on my head
Some just don't understand
My longing for my own bed
Though I walked the beaches of Florida
Present in mind and body
There are other plans on my agenda
And my heart lies in Missouri.
