Home Stretch Unaware

And on this UN International Day of Peace

Peace was not made

it seems

for unaware,

no new enemies were formed, but at the same time no alliances formed

unfortunate is this chain of events

so unfortunate as the loss of a chance

at a chance

at a chance

and how bitterly ironic it should be to have fallen

on a day

a night

just the same

with the clouds and the rain

that was never disclosed

and in doing so

never

the same.

I am a poet, musician, and strong proponent of LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and being your true self no matter what ANYONE says. Do what you please, comment anything that comes to your mind, make you happy first. Then your dog/cat. That's pretty much it. Hail Santa. THE END.
