Home sweet Home

Dear Mom,

So much has happened since I came to Chicago,

To my hometown that you should know,

Is where I spent my childhood ,

Playing in the snow.

I met lots of people and made new friends,

Something that can put you at ease

So you know that what I am would never end.

I also got to visit my cousins up north,

It was fun and exciting since I got to ride the train,

but the travel time was a pain.

The college here is great!

At Illinois Tech there are so many things to do,

I can study,

I can socialize,

I can tour,

I can explore,

Here the fun never ends, Because the skys are blue.

Remeber, I grew up here

So you don't need to worry

I will remain safe each day as I visit and stay on campus

So from tears

your eyes don't need to go blurry.

In a place where I can be

In a world or just a dream

Where I can sing, play and sleep

Is something I look forward to each day

When I come back here from exploring and school,

I would know what to say

In the place that I grew up in

and where you should have known

You could only here me say

Home sweet Home.

Sincerly,

Jese ramirez
