A Home Without a Closet
Love,
uh, I ask myself what is love,
well can someone please tell me what is the meaning of this thing I hear is love,
because I sure damn don't see what, where, when, and how from this thing call love,
did you know that up to 41% of America homeless youth is LGBT,
as I'm reminded by stories of the many boys and girls that was or been rejected,
rejected by the very people who they thought they would forever love,
I'm reminded of what it is of being just another gay person in America,
hoping to live the American dream but it seems that dream isn't for gay people like me,
now again I will ask you what is love?
because if this is love then I sure damn don't want it,
you see go many of my LGBT brothers and sisters live that fear of rejection,
and I ask myself what makes me so different from fearing rejection,
well the answer is that I just don't give a damn,
nor I give a damn or have time to entertain this thing called "hate,"
because so many people around the global so force to hide in the darkest parts of their closets,
now I ask myself again,
what makes me so different? Could you or her, him, and them tell me?
I'll wait......
still waiting...
waiting for your rely,
because I'm one of many who lives in a home without a closet.
