At Home with You

Muscular back, rough chin, bright eyes, charming smile, loving heart. Remember the day, you asked of me my heart's desires. My last breath stolen by your kiss. Pulling me close ensuring me your touch would free my confusion, and lift my heart. Remember the day, beloved colors, treasured sweets, favored films, were but a simple chat between two. Yet, we learned more and more. As each shade of violet, aroma of chocolate, sounds of laughter passes by. Lay my head on your shoulder. Get cozy. Your hand in mine. My mind wanders. My heart floats into clouds. Touch me softly. Squeeze me tightly. Kiss me passionately. Love me continuously. Until I must watch you leave me time and time again. Wondering, when you will be back. Wondering, when I can hold you in my arms again. Wondering, when we'll share that sweet kiss, that is months and months of lost time together. When I think of you, I suddenly remember I love laugh. I suddenly remember I love to explore. I suddenly remember how much I love to love. You feel like home. And I feel nostalgia. When the world suddenly stopped, I was with you. I felt at home. I miss you.
