Homecoming Love

Jasmine never looked as impeccable as she did on homecoming night

My pink southern belle dress fitting perfectly

My smile made the gods jealous of me

It seemed as if I was swiftly moving across the floor

Full of elegancy

Full of happiness

Then that one song comes on....

And everyone forgets who they really are

We are the life of the party

It's my night to shine-I tell myself

Now let's get back on that dance--I veered off

THE DANCE! THE PARTY!

The main attraction

Of hidden love

The KING and QUEEN of hip-hop

The rhythm of our body's

To that lit beat

His activity

To her acceptance

Their love hidden in the dark

He felt the chills down my spin as he swayed me

And then the next minute the song is over

Feeling the love in the perimeter

With the help of some good ole koolaid

He approached me:

Would you like to dance, you look so delicate.

His voice slightly with fear, but yet bold

Our hands then softly met

My porcelain skin, had the ability to heal

Now all of a sudden everything made since to him

He lost a friend that night though

But he gain something more,.......a lover.
